When you are ready to place your recordings in your shopping cart, you'll
be given the opportunity to choose between one MP3 file per book or one MP3 file
per chapter. Here's some information about each organizational option:
RECOMMENDED: One MP3 file per chapter Each chapter of a book is a separate MP3 file
(examples: Gen01.mp3, Gen02.mp3, etc.), and those files are organized into a folder
entitled with the number and name of the book (example: 01_Genesis). This means that the files will
automatically organize themselves correctly on your hard drive or MP3-capable device, and you'll
have great flexibility and ease of navigation within a book.
One MP3 file per book
Just as the the description indicates, each book you order this way will come in one large MP3
file (example: 01_Genesis.mp3). The files will organize themselves correctly on your hard
drive because of the number at the beginning of each filename. For longer books, however, the "per
book" organization will mean that navigation within a book will be cumbersome, and that's why we
don't recommend this option to our customers.
Whichever organizational option you choose, you'll appreciate the fact that we've made
your files 100% compatible with your computer's file system, your music software, and your MP3-capable
device. Your new recordings will show up in the right order and with the correct metadata as soon as
you place them into your music library or copy them to your device.
Keep in mind that we've packaged all your files into eleven large ZIP files (7 Old Testament, 4 New
Testament) to make them easy to download. (Can you imagine downloading 1,189 separate chapter files?)
We know you'll be impressed when you see how easy it is.
